Chinese state television China Central Television (CCTV) has extended its contract with Liberty Media for the broadcast of the World Championship of F1 over several years. The Chinese will thus be able to benefit from more than 100 hours of live coverage of the rounds of the 2018 season.
The partnership between F1 and CCTV dates back to 1994, on a huge potential market for the discipline. China will also host the fifteenth edition of its national Grand Prix this year, on the Shanghai track.
