Stopped in FP3 earlier in the afternoon, following a hydraulic problem on his Mercedes W09, Valtteri Bottas will change the engine on his car before qualifying for the Mexican Grand Prix this Saturday.

Luckily for the former pilot Williams, this change will not cause a penalty, since Mercedes will draw from the engine reserve still available to Bottas, without fitting a new block which could have led the Finn to a penalty on the grid.

Remember that yesterday in free practice, the Mercedes W09s suffered from overheating problems.
