The Brazilian Grand Prix is suspended on the 21st lap following Kimi Räikkönen's crash. The pilot Ferrari made a mistake during a restart given after the accident of Marcus Ericsson (Sauber).
Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) remains in the lead ahead of his teammate Nico Rosberg. Max Verstappen (Red Bull) occupies 3rd place following the Finn's crash. The Force Indias of Nico Hulkenberg and Sergio Pérez complete the top five ahead Carlos Sainz Jr. (Toro Rosso) and Felipe Nasr (Sauber). Daniel Ricciardo (Red Bull) is 8th ahead of Pascal Wehrlein's Manor and Esteban Ocon.
Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari) is 15th after spinning. The four-time world champion precedes Felipe Massa (Williams).
