Williams Martini Racing confirmed this Friday the arrival in its ranks, as of July 17, of Dave Redding as Team Manager. Redding arrives from McLaren, a team where he had worked since 2001, first as a systems engineer, then more recently as Team Manager since 2009. He had also previously worked for Jaguar, Benetton and Stewart.
The new recruit from Grove will be responsible for the general management of operations and sporting activities of the team founded by Frank Williams and which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. Williams also announced the departure of Steve Nielsen, sports manager, effective July 31.
