The former pilot of Formula 1, Frank Gardner, died this Friday at the age of 79. Gardner competed in eight F1 races at the wheel of a Brabham for the John Willment Automobiles team (1964-65). However, the driver became better known for his championship titles in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC).
