The third free practice session at Silverstone (Great Britain) was interrupted with a red flag following a major accident. Brendon Hartley (Toro Rosso). The New Zealander suffered a broken front left suspension at the end of the straight.
The driver got out of the wreckage on his own and was taken to the circuit medical center for a medical check-up.
