George Russell will compete in the two rookie test sessions held on Tuesday August 1 and Wednesday August 2 at the Hungaroring in Budapest (Hungary) with Mercedes GP which will align it with the W08. The ART Grand Prix driver entered in the GP3 Series is integrated into the young driver program of the star manufacturer.
“I've probably done more virtual laps than anyone else with this car and it's fantastic to finally have the opportunity to drive it in real life”, comments George Russell present in the paddock of the Azerbaijan GP in Baku.
