We know that the F1 is already working on an overhaul of a 2020 calendar paused by the coronavirus pandemic, via a possible adoption of two races contested on the same circuit.
A format which seems more than advanced according to the statements of Helmut Marko, consultant Red Bull Racing, on Austrian radio O3.
“Two races are planned, on Sunday July 5, then a week later on July 12. All official requirements are already met. » admits the former winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Silverstone could also be a candidate to organize two races close together in time.
