Italy is celebrating in this Q2. While they were expected to be suffering, the Ferrari managed to get their ticket to Q3 thanks to the 8th and 9th times of Carlos Sainz et Charles Leclerc. Also at home, Antonio Giovinazzi (Alfa Romeo) qualified for the final part of qualifying like in Zandvoort last week. The Transalpine ranked 7th less than 8 tenths behind Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes), author of the best time.
On the elimination side, George Russell (Williams) will not see the Q3 just like the Alpine byEsteban Ocon et Fernando Alonso. Same case with Aston Martin where Sebastien Hag et Lance stroll could not do better than 11th and 12th.
