Assigned to the role of reservist withinAlfa Romeo, Robert Kubica will don the helmet during free practice for the Spanish Grand Prix held in Barcelona on Friday May 7. The Pole will drive the C41 in FP1, but also during the two days of private testing the week following the Grand Prix in Catalonia with the 18-inch tires developed by Pirelli for the 2022 season.

“I can’t wait to be in the car again this Friday and next week. Having last driven the C41 in Barcelona in February, I can't wait to see how much the car has progressed since then. Drive a Formula 1 is always a special experience and I look forward to contributing to the team's efforts in the mid-pack battle. Additionally, driving the new 18-inch tires will be a new experience and the first taste of a new world that will emerge next year. »
