Pirelli will allow teams to test new soft tires during Friday free practice in Abu Dhabi. These tires should be used from next season. “With limited testing during the season, it is important for us to gather information in order to develop our strategy for 2012, where we will offer significantly different tires compared to this season”, explains Paul Hembery, the sporting director of the Italian manufacturer.
