Romania has declared its interest in hosting a Grand Prix of Formula 1 in the future. According to AFP, the Frenchman Jacques Samalens, one of the managers of the company Ramses-Project, would be the kingpin of the project. For the moment, three sites would be selected.
« The aim is to create a permanent multi-use circuit for tourism and international competitions, and ultimately be able to organize a Formula 1 Grand Prix. » declared Jacques Samalens.
