Alonso's attack on Hamilton in Bahrain voted 'Overrun of the Month'

Fernando Alonso received the trophy for the best overtaking of the month of March, with his maneuver on Lewis Hamilton during the Bahrain Grand Prix.

Fernando Alonso will fill his cupboard with an additional trophy. The Spaniard won the “Overtake of the Month” prize for the month of March. His fantastic maneuver on Lewis Hamilton at turn 10 at the Sakhir circuit, during the Bahrain Grand Prix, earned him this honor. The trophy was presented to him on the sidelines of the Australian Grand Prix.

New this season, the “Exceeding of the Month” prize rewards each month the pilot who has carried out the best attack. The winner is determined by fan votes. With two Grands Prix contested (Bahrain and Saudi Arabia), the month of March was treated to some great battles on the track. Fernando Alonso Lance stroll, Kevin Magnussen, Lewis Hamilton or even the rookie Logan sargeant were in the running to win this honorary prize.
