The Barcelona circuit, which will host the Grand Prix of Formula 1 of Spain in 2021, began work this month on the famous turn 10, which constitutes the second major braking on the circuit after a DRS zone.
The work will replace the gravel at the very bottom of the old bend configuration with a run-off zone, to meet FIA safety standards to accommodate F1. This remodeling will allow the bend to return to its initial configuration, which was abandoned in 2004.
