The Korean Grand Prix, which should have been run from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and which ultimately continued until 11 a.m. due to rain, benefited from a good audience rate this weekend. Thus, according to Médiamétrie, 2,2 million viewers, or more than a third of the people present in front of their television screen (34,2% audience share), followed the victory of Fernando Alonso during the first Korean GP in the history of F1.
