Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) dominated Q1 of qualifying for the United States Grand Prix in 1'34″130, 388 thousandths ahead of his teammate Valtteri Bottas. The two follow Ferrari de Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Räikkönen at 0″439 and 0″573 and both Red Bull de Daniel Ricciardo et Max Verstappen, pointed at six tenths.
But the Dutchman broke his suspension when passing a curb and should not participate in the rest of qualifying. On the other hand, are eliminated, Fernando Alonso (McLaren), Sergey Sirotkin and Lance stroll (Williams), Marcus Ericsson (Alfa Romeo Sauber) and Stoffel Vandoorne (McLaren).
