Liberty Media, in association with the Italian manufacturer of the F1 Pirelli announced this Wednesday the launch of the Pirelli Hot Laps initiative starting with the Bahrain Grand Prix (April 8).
Spectators, celebrities and guests will take a professional driver on the track used by the Grand Prix single-seaters, in the cockpit of different supercars. Aston Martin et McLaren have already confirmed their participation in this new meeting which will also be organized in nine other destinations on the 2018 calendar.
Aston Martin should entrust a Vantage V8 to Daniel Ricciardo et Max Verstappen, holders of the Aston Martin Red Bull Racing. Fernando Alonso and Stoffel Vandoorne, McLaren starters, Lando Norris, reserve driver from Woking, as well as double world champion Mika Häkkinen, ambassador of the British brand, will be at the wheel of 720S.
