Max Verstappen will return home this weekend (September 2-4) for the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort. On this occasion, the world champion unveiled a special helmet, in tribute to his father Jos Verstappen. The helmet takes the design of the former pilot of Formula 1, active between 1994 and 2003 (107 Grands Prix) and passed through Benetton, Tyrrell and Arrows. A mixture of blue and red lines on a white background – using the colors of the Dutch flag – will adorn the helmet of the world championship leader.
A special helmet for Zandvoort and this one is very personal for me
Returning here as a World Champion is a great moment for me to appreciate all the effort my dad put into my career. That's why we made a new version of his iconic design.
