Max Verstappen will return home this weekend (September 2-4) for the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort. On this occasion, the world champion unveiled a special helmet, in tribute to his father Jos Verstappen. The helmet takes the design of the former pilot of Formula 1, active between 1994 and 2003 (107 Grands Prix) and passed through Benetton, Tyrrell and Arrows. A mixture of blue and red lines on a white background – using the colors of the Dutch flag – will adorn the helmet of the world championship leader.

Max Verstappen revealed the new design of his helmet via a video posted on social networks. “A special helmet for Zandvoort and this one is very personal to me. Coming back here as a world champion is a great moment for me to appreciate all the efforts my father put into my career. That's why we've created a new version of its iconic design. » The special Dutch Grand Prix helmet is also available for sale for the most passionate, in scale 1:2 and 1:4.
