The sole manufacturer Pirelli has revealed the tire allocation for the Mexican Grand Prix (October 29) contested in the capital Mexico City. The leading team in the general ranking of manufacturers, Mercedes, opted for nine ultra-soft tires (purple sidewalls), where Ferrari et Red Bull were more conservative (7 and 6 ultra soft tires).

As a reminder, ultra soft tires provide optimal grip, but have an endurance deficit compared to the super soft (red) and soft (yellow) versions. The Silver Arrows' strategy is therefore more aggressive than its rivals.
