Respectively 12th and 13th in the Japanese Grand Prix, Heikki Kovalainen and Jarno Trulli made Lotus shine in the Land of the Rising Sun, to the delight of Mike Gascoyne, who was keen to congratulate his drivers.
“We couldn't have had a better weekend (in Japan, Editor's note), explains Gascoyne. I think Jarno and Heikki got the most out of the car, which explains our advantage over our closest competitors both in qualifying and in the race. We made some announcements about next year before the race that show how ambitious we are, and there are more to come (see here). We are going to Korea with a very positive state of mind. »
