The MotorSport Vision company, headed by the Briton Jonathan Palmer (father of the pilot Renault Sport F1 Team Jolyon Palmer) has announced its takeover of operations at England's Donington Park complex.

MSV, which already owns and manages Brands Hatch, Oulton Park, Snetterton and Cadwell Park, has entered into an agreement with Kevin Wheatcroft, owner and operator of Donington Park, to take over management of the route's operations, and will initially lease the estate for 21 years.

The circuit which hosted the F1 European Grand Prix in 1993, notably constitutes a stage of the British Touring Car Championship. A few days ago, after the latest information from Silverstone, a Donington spokesperson indicated that the circuit did not intend to return to F1 for the moment.
