Niki Lauda sold most of his assets in the airline to the vice-president of Mercedes Motorsport called LaudaMotion.
The three-time world champion has accepted a 75% takeover by the Irish company Ryanair which wishes to compete with Lufthansa. Discussions had begun for a buyout of 24,9%.
