The Woking team has revealed the identity of the drivers included in its Young Driver program for 2017. Lando Norris, Eurocup FR 2.0 and FR 2.0 NEC 2016 champion, joins Nobuharu Matsushita and Nyck de Vries in the fold McLaren.
Norris will compete in the 2017 season in the FIA F3 with Carlin, while Matsushita will continue in GP2 Series with ART Grand Prix, while being reserve and development driver for McLaren-Honda in F1 after the promotion of Stoffel Vandoorne. The Dutchman de Vries is still waiting to know the content of his 2017 program.
The three drivers will carry out intensive work in the simulator and will be supported in this task by Oliver Turvey, who retains his responsibilities as test and development driver at McLaren.
