Force India has asked the FIA to retain its numbers 20 and 21 (as in 2008) for this new season instead of the 18 and 19 previously allocated.
With the agreement of Brawn GP, the French Motor Sport Federation has therefore reallocated the 20 and 21 to Force India and to Brawn GP the 22 and 23. There will therefore be no 18 and 19 on the starting grids in 2009.
