Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) came close to being penalized in Monaco. On his land, the Monegasque was placed under investigation by the commissioners for allegedly driving too fast during the Virtual Safety Car (VSC) period during Free Practice 3 on Saturday morning. Finally, the International Automobile Federation (FIA) reprimanded the driver, but did not impose a penalty for the rest of the weekend.
