La Toro Rosso Frenchman's Honda engine is bringing several new elements to Austin. For his first United States Grand Prix, Pierre Gasly will have to start from the back of the grid on the Circuit of the Americas.

Official FIA documents revealed that the Normand uses a 7th internal combustion engine, a 7th turbocharger, a 7th MGU-H, and a 6th MGU-K this week-end. As a reminder, the 2018 annual allocation for each driver includes three ICEs, three MGU-Hs, and three turbochargers as well as two MGU-Ks, two batteries, and two electronic controls.

Obviously, the preparation work for Red Bull Racing and 2019 continues at full speed.
