While we were moving towards a “confrontation” between Michelin and Avon, Pirelli is getting into the game. The manufacturer, last week, expressed its interest in equipping the F1, but without a concrete decision. Finally, Pirelli will present an offer on May 9, after the Spanish Grand Prix, to equip all the teams next year. If the teams under the FOTA banner had planned to decide in Barcelona, this choice should be postponed to Monaco (May 14-16) or Istanbul (May 28-30).
