Q1 – Norris at the forefront at Spa
Delayed by 12 minutes due to a downpour, the first phase of qualifying at Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium) saw the domination of Lando Norris (McLaren). The Englishman, wearing intermediate tires like all of his rivals, was ahead of Max Verstappen by more than four tenths and Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) by almost a second.
At the bottom of the table, the Alfa Romeo by Antonio Giovinazzi and Kimi Räikkönen, the Haas de Nikita mazepin et Mick Schumacher as well as theAlpha Tauri de Yuki tsunoda have already finished their day. THE Alpine also did not go far from elimination (Alonso 14th, Or with 15e).
