Vitaly Petrov (Renault, 1?40??658) ranks tenth, qualifying for Q3. He was ahead of his teammate Robert Kubica (Renault, 1:40:780), eliminated in Q2. He is accompanied by Jaime Alguersuari (Toro Rosso), Tonio Liuzzi (Force India), Nick Heidfeld (Sauber), Nico Hulkenberg (Williams), Adrian Sutil (Force India) and Kamui Kobayashi (Sauber).
