Renault works on its pit stop

Renault F1, in addition to discovering the Pirelli tires, worked this Friday on a new pit stop procedure. On the Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi, the team based in enstone carried out several pit stop simulations using a new controlled lights system by the person who usually holds the famous “lollipop”. Ferrari et Mercedes were already using this system this season, supposed to save a few tenths at each stop. But we must not forget that, on the other hand, these lights have already cost some people dearly, leaving the stands prematurely following a malfunction in this system!
