The pilots of F1 are investing more and more in audiovisual. After the announcement of a film produced by Apple with Brad Pitt and Lewis Hamilton, it is the turn of Daniel Ricciardo to launch into the world of series. The pilot McLaren will soon team up with the Disney-owned streaming platform Hulu. The idea would be to create a scripted mini-series around Formula 1, with half-hour episodes, reveals The Hollywood Reporter.

Details of this series have not yet been revealed, nor a possible release date. The team behind the project is still looking for screenwriters. The Australian pilot would serve as executive director of the series.
Daniel Ricciardo's involvement comes in a prosperous period between motorsport and cinematographic art. After the success of Rush, Le Mans 66 or from the series Formula 1: Drive to Survive, Netflix recently created a comedy series on NASCAR with Kevin James, titled The Crew, but which was canceled after one season. Apple also recently obtained a lengthy documentary on Lewis Hamilton.
