Arrived in the reigning World Champion team, Michael Schumacher showed his confidence at the start of the season. A few months later, with a ninth place in the championship and two fourth positions for best results, the driver Mercedes no longer believes in it.
“We would have to be very, very lucky to snatch a victory this year,” admitted the German after the British Grand Prix.
