Singapore – Q2: Leclerc best time, Aston Martin misses its bet

The track improves lap after lap and the times fall! Charles Leclerc was the fastest in the 2nd qualifying session in Singapore in 1'52″343. The Monegasque is positioned in the lead before Q3, ahead Lewis Hamilton et Max Verstappen. Both Alpha Tauri are qualified, just like Fernando Alonso, Lando Norris et Kevin Magnussen.
No George Russell on the other hand in Q3. A rare image this season, the Briton did not manage to get out of Q2 and had to settle for 11th place. He is ahead of both Aston Martin, who were the first to try the challenge of slick tires. A choice that didn't work, as some of the corners were still wet. Guanyu-Zhou (15th) also tried to put on soft tires, without success.
