Renault Sport F1 Team could make a modification to the cooling system of the MGU-K of the RS 18 Carlos Sainz et Nico Hulkenberg at the Austrian Grand Prix this weekend. The system should be lighter than before.
“This will benefit Nico more, a slightly heavier driver than Carlos. » explains Bob Bell, director of technology within the French team.
It is this same MGU-K which was responsible for the complicated end of the race for Carlos Sainz at Paul Ricard last weekend, the Spaniard losing two positions in the final laps.
