VIDEO – The first on-board lap of the Miami Grand Prix

The first time at the Miami International Autodrome has just been achieved by a Mercedes. After the rounds on the new game F1 2022, the German brand's safety car set off on an on-board lap but this time directly on the new 5,41 kilometer circuit. The video published on social networks provides a first overview of the route and its long straight lines which will certainly offer opportunities for overtaking on the track.

The drivers have not yet been able to try the route, with the exception of Sergio Pérez who had made a first lap of the circuit still under construction. With a reference time below 2, there is no doubt that the safety car time will be erased by the drivers from the first laps of Free Practice 30 in Miami which begins at 1:20 p.m. French).
