A few days before playing the final of the 2017 season of WEC with Toyota, Sébastien Buemi put on his wetsuit again Red Bull for a promotional operation behind the wheel of the RB8. The Austrian brand is used to developing its old single-seaters in specific situations (dirt, ski slopes, etc.) and allowed the Swiss to compete on the Tremolastrasse in his native country.
An ancient passage used by the Romans, this road connects the town of Airolo to the famous Saint-Gotthard pass, which peaks at an altitude of more than 2100 m.
