24 Hours of Spa – Team WRT dominates first practice session

On its land, Team WRT intends to impose its law during these 74e 24 Hours of SPa. The least we can say is that Vincent Vosse's team has started its week very well. His No. 8 Audi R3 LMS GT32 Evo II, supported by the German manufacturer this weekend, dominated the first free practice session in the Ardennes slide.
Led by its trio Dries Vanthoor-Kelvin van der Linde-Charles Weerts, Team WRT, bearing the designation Audi Sport Team WRT, took first place on the timesheet with a best time of 2'17"858. On the line, the gaps were very tight since less than a tenth separated the first 4 cars with the Porsche 911 GT3 RN°24 from Herberth Motorsport (Aust-Leutwiler-Menzel-Picariello) 2nd just 17 thousandths behind followed by the Mercedes-AMG GT3 N°57 from Winward Racing (Liebhauser-Ward-Ferrari-Auer) and the No. 4 BMW M3 GT98 of Rowe Racing (Catsburg-Farfus-Yelloly). The No. 4 BMW M3 GT34 of Walkenhorst Motorsport (Dinan-Foley-Heistand-Klingman) completed the Top 5.
The entries for the 24 Hours of Spa will return to the track at 16:15 p.m. for pre-qualifying with qualifying at 20:40 p.m. and the night practice session at 22:20 p.m.
