The pre-qualifying session, held at night on the Paul Ricard track in Var, as part of the 1000 km counting for the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup, was dominated by Vincent Abril (Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo n°4 – HRT).
The Monegasque achieved the best time of the session in 1'53"993, ahead of Raffaele Marciello (Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo n°88 - AKKA-ASP) by 174 thousandths, when Christopher Haase (Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo n° 25 – Saintéloc Racing) finished in 3rd position at 0″243.
David Pittard (BMW M6 GT3 no. 34 – Walkenhorst Motorsport) and Mirko Bortolotti (Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo no. 63 – FFF Racing) complete the top 5 of the session. Konstantin Tereschenko places the No. 3 Mercedes-AMG GT87 Evo – AKKA-ASP at the forefront in the Silver Cup while Eddie Cheever allows Tempesta Racing to maintain the lead in the Pro-Am category with the Ferrari 488 GT3 n°93.
