Berthon sets off to explore the Bathurst 12 Hours with Audi

Frenchman Nathanaël Berthon will compete for the first time in the 12 Hours of Bathurst (Australia, May 13-15). Auvergne is going to have a busy week. Indeed, from May 6 to 8, he competes in the Pau Grand Prix in the World Touring Car Cup, again with Audi.

“I am delighted to race on one of the most legendary circuits in the world! I warmly thank Audi Sport for their confidence in me and I am happy to be associated with Kelvin van der Linde and Brad Schumacher »

Audi Sport will also send GT3 experts Markus Winkelhock and Ricardo Feller in Yasser Shahin's R8 LMS GT3 Evo.

“In 2011 we were a pioneer at the Bathurst 12 Hour as the first GT3 entrant, said Chris Reinke, head of customer racing at Audi Sport. “In the meantime, many international brands have joined us and thus contributed to the rise of the event to one of the most important GT3 endurance races in the world. With three wins at Bathurst, Audi is the most successful manufacturer in the GT3 era. Now, against the backdrop of the Pro-Am regulations, we face a new challenge, just like our rivals. »
