La Nascar announced the appointment as president of Brent Dewar, who until now served as chief operating officer. Dewar is the fourth person to occupy this position in the organizational chart of the American series after Bill France Sr, Bill France Jr and Mike Helton, who retained this title until 2015.
Brent Dewar will report directly to Chairman and CEO Brian France.
