Bruno Spengler injured in his vertebrae in Vallelunga

Bruno Spengler is forced into forced rest following his accident in Pool Fast of the FIA ETCR (Electric Touring Car World Cup) in Vallelunga (Italy) on Sunday July 24.

The Canadian posted a message on social media Monday evening, indicating that he was suffering from “fracture of a vertebra”. “I will now focus on a speedy recovery to be back in the car as soon as possible and for the rest of the season. We are still investigating the technical problem that caused the car to spin out of control at Turn 2. I would like to thank the entire medical team, the FIA ETCR and everyone who helped and supported me.

I want to end by saying a huge and special thank you to Michela Cerruti to the Romeo Ferraris team for their solidarity and consideration towards the safety of their driver. The support the team gave me is something I have very rarely encountered in my career. The Romeo Ferraris family gives me the energy and the desire to push harder to get back up as quickly as possible. »

Bruno Spengler est classé sixième du championnat FIA ETCR après Vallelunga devant le vice-champion sortant, Jean-Karl Vernay (Hyundai).
