Loris Hezemans will become the 5th driver from the Nascar Whelen Euro Series to compete in a national Nascar race. The Dutchman, who recently won the last two races of the European regular season, will make his first steps in Xfinity by participating in the road race at Road America (Wisconsin) this weekend behind the wheel of the No. 99 Chevrolet Camaro of BJ McLeod Motorsports.
“We contacted Carlos Lira, who runs cars in the Gander Outdoors Truck Series and the ARCA Racing Series. He was positively impressed with my results and helped get in touch with BJ McLeod Motorsports. We were looking for an opportunity to make my Xfinity Series debut on a road course and Road America was a perfect fit.”, indicated Loris Hezemans.
