Untouchable in qualifying, ROWE Racing takes pole

Already leading in Q1 and Q2, ROWE Racing took pole position for the 50th edition of the 24 Hours of Nürburgring.

Untouchable in qualifying, ROWE Racing takes pole

These qualifications for the 24 Hours of the Nürburgring were those of ROWE Racing and its No. 4 BMW M3 GT98. Untouchable during Q1 and Q2 this Thursday thanks to Nick Catsburg then Sheldon van der Linde, the Saint-Ingbert team (Germany) finished the job in Q3, helped by an excellent Nick Catsburg this Friday.

Fastest man in Q1 the day before, the Englishman, winner in 2020 with ROWE Racing already, hit the nail on the head during Q3. With a lap of 8'14"771, Nick Catsburg climbed to the top of the timesheet, relegating Jules Gounon (Mercedes-AMG GT3 N°4 – Team GetSpeed) and Andy Soucek (BMW M4 GT3 N°101 – Walkenhorst) by more than a second.

Tenante du titre, la Porsche 911 GT3R N°1 du Manthey Racing s’est classée 12e almost 3 seconds from the mark established by Nick Catsburg.
