Jean Karl Vernay disqualified from his quarter-final

The news came late, but Jean Karl Vernay was disqualified from his quarter-final which he had won a little earlier in the afternoon. The Frenchman was therefore demoted to semi-final 2 of the first group.

It's annoying because it's with these kinds of small mistakes that you can put yourself in difficulty for a championship. This is a good lesson for us, it won't happen again» Jean Karl Vernay, a philosopher, told us. Reversed in semi-final 2, even in the event of victory Vernay cannot hope for better than a fourth place on the starting grid for the ETCR final contested in the streets of Pau.
