The Nevers Magny-Cours Circuit will host a motorsport festival from September 11 to 13. Spectators who join the track nestled in the Nièvre will indeed see GTs, single-seaters, touring cars and even prototypes competing. In all, no less than eight different series will be there to offer the public an extremely complete program of 19 races. On Saturday evening, the tension will rise again with three night events, including 60 minutes for the GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS.

Used to performing in September on the track which hosted the French Grand Prix of Formula 1 between 1991 and 2008, the French Championship FFSAGT will share the bill this year for a five-star meeting with the GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS. For the benchmark European GT3 competition, it's a return: the Nivernais circuit was the scene of a three-hour endurance race in 2011. This time, two 60-minute sprints will be on the menu.

For spectators, the poster is more than tempting! The French FFSA GT Championship, which has enjoyed success again since SRO Motorsports Group took over its promotion in 2017, is one of the strongest national championships in Europe. And the GT4 category – like GT3 – can boast of offering an anthology of different brands to guarantee the public a wide variety of silhouettes and sounds on the track. With two one-hour races scheduled for each of these two series, GT fans will not be disappointed!

Speaking of young wolves, the car will also have a notable presence on the Nevers Magny-Cours Circuit. In addition to the FFSA French Formula 4 Championship, the Formula Renault Eurocup will allow us to see the hopes of motorsport at work. Most of the current Formula 1 drivers have passed through one of these series and you will therefore be able to applaud the champions of tomorrow in Nièvre.

And it's not over ! L'Alpine Elf Europa Cup and the Renault Clio Cup will constitute highlights for single-make cups. Each of these series will offer two races of 25 minutes + 1 lap and, as a certain tradition dictates, these should be very competitive. Finally, the competitors in the Sprint Cup by Funyo Sport Proto (i.e. 100% French prototypes) will compete in four 20-minute races and will offer even more diversity at this Nivernais meeting, definitely not lacking in it.

The weekend will begin on Friday with free practice and qualifying. The following day can be described as “super Saturday” with a first start at 8:45 a.m. and a last checkered flag at 23:10 p.m. In all, 11 races are on the menu with the FFSA GT French Championship which will take place just before sunset (departure at 18:55 p.m.). The evening will continue in the dark with the Renault Clio Cup (20:10 p.m.), the Porsche Carrera Cup France (20:55 p.m.) and the first race of the GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS (22:10 p.m.), which will end the day in an impressive ballet headlights.

On Sunday, the program will be barely less busy with eight races on the menu, including the second confrontations of the FFSA GT French Championship (9:40 a.m.) and the GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS (13:45 p.m.). Tickets are now on sale on Ticketmaster for this weekend of September 11 and 13, which promises to be a motorsport festival not to be missed for all fans in France… and elsewhere!
