Mostert takes pole at the Bathurst 12 Hours

In Bathurst, Chaz Mostert is definitely at home. Winner of the Bathurst 1000 in Supercars last December after dominating qualifying, “Mozzie” did it again this Saturday, this time in the Intercontinental GT Challenge.

Present in the Top 10 Shootout, where the 10 fastest drivers from the first part of qualifying fight for pole position, Chaz Mostert, at the wheel of the No. 8 Audi R3 LMS GT65 Evo II, flew over the sheet of time with a best lap in 2'02"493. A performance which allowed him to take an 85 thousandths lead over Kelvin van der Linde (Audi Sport Team) and more than 7 tenths over Jules Gounon and his Mercedes AMG GT3 No. 75 from SunEnergy 1 Racing.
