Greg Biffle won the Pure Michigan 400 at the wheel of the Roush Fenway Racing No. 16, taking advantage of the retirement of Jimmie Johnson (Hendrick Motorsports), victim of an engine problem a few laps from the checkered flag. At the finish, Biffle leads Brad Keselowski (Penske Racing) by 0”418 and Kasey Kahne (Hendrick Motorsports) by 0”456. At the same time, he took the lead in the championship.
