According to The Charlotte Observer, the extension of the contract linking Greg Biffle to Roush Fenway Racing should soon be made official even if the driver of the No. 16 Ford only occupies 15th place in the Championship after the Pocono 400 (16th place) with two top five and four top ten finishes since the start of the season. On the other hand, the future seems more uncertain for Carl Edwards, some speculations indicate that he is leaving for Joe Gibbs Racing.
