Chase Elliott will attempt to compete in the All-Star Race in Charlotte, North Carolina on May 16 by competing in the Sprint Showdown. The Nationwide (now named Xfinity) Series champion, future replacement for Jeff Gordon, will drive the No. 25 Chevrolet of Hendrick who hopes to field 5 cars in the non-Championship race.
