Rob Kauffman, co-owner of the Michael Waltrip Racing team, is expected to purchase shares in the Chip Ganassi with Felix Sabates team. As indicated in the press release from Chip Ganassi Racing, discussions concerning the 2016 season and beyond are ongoing and more details should emerge in the coming days, or weeks, on the future situation of the two teams present in NASCAR.
